Done 2nd interview!! Went very very well even though it was much more difficult than my 1st. He put me through a lot of situational questions regarding being in a diverse team. Actually one of the more interesting interviews I have ever had. After those initial questions and a few "Whys", the interview became a conversation.
The wait begins.
Interesting, I felt the same about my 2nd interview. I got two CEO's here in Costa Rica (I'm from India though), one Costa Rican and one British interviewer, both in their late 40's. 2nd guy really quizzed me and tried to corner me with a few questions (I mentioned an alternative career option post-MBA I had given some thought to, which I did not mention on my essays, and he went into the nitty-gritties to ascertain whether I had really thought it out or whether I just threw out the option last minute to sound cool). Very interesting interview though, he also told me that irrespective of what college I chose (told him I'd applied to LBS as well), if I decided to return to Costa Rica, I should give him a call. Vague, but good sign I think. But yes he created at least 1 or 2 uncomfortable moments by catching me off guard with unexpected questions (like he kept grilling me when I told him I liked Costa RIcan culture and had adapted, he found it difficult to believe and really pressed me to admit that I had indeed struggled in the beginning, which was the truth).
Any how, won't ramble, but if any body wants me to elaborate on my interview experience please either message me or I can post some of the questions here.
