I thought the address above was for the limited PowerPrep "summer" edition, now available for download from Pearson. I just finished putting it to my hard drive. Someone I know suggested I try it for extra practice. I plan on taking the first one later today. Am I missing something? As for the trial test by Pearson, I do not plan to participate in it. Cheers,

My intention for opening this thread is not about "free practice tests." It is about the real GMAT that should be taken in Pearson testing centers across the globe.

Anyway, there is no harm in discussing about free practice tests. Tell us how they went once you've finished.

I am sorry to take time from the true purpose of this thread.

Finally, a PowerPrep that has four passages, just like the real thing (I don't recall the "classic" ones having more than three)! I found the problems to be of comparable difficulty to those on prior CAT tests. There were only two (one for sure) problems from the guide, which made for a refreshing experience. The verbal section starts off with two CRs (one bold), then RC, then CR again, then another RC, and only by question eight or so did I see the first SC. For all you math wizzes, do not expect 800-level probability questions on this. However, I did have a couple of time-consuming problems. The test's font and screen colors are different, which sort of surprised me. All in all, the practice exam just made me more confused as to how these tests are graded. I did not perform too well on the math, yet got a higher score on the section than I typically do on paper tests, where my hit rate is high due to the easier problems. The total score was within the 600 range, but I will keep the numerical details for another post. For those in search of more good practice, I suggest downloading these while they are still around. There is nothing better than a fresh PowerPrep on a hot summer day! :cool

Once again, I apologize for diverting your thread.
