I'm a little surprised about the high acceptance rate last year - over 40%. Plus yes they seemed to drop a bit in placement at graduation.

At my interview they mentioned that consulting placement last year wasn't great and that is part of the reason that they are cutting this incoming class size by about 60 spots. That will obviously lower the acceptance rate, and they seem to hope it will help their placement as well. So maybe next year Ross will rebound.

But I wouldn't read too much into the rankings, they do fluctuate year to year. I just hope the downward trend doesn't continue.

I believe the online status won't be updated until the 15th. I could be wrong about that however.

I don't think the online system would be updated yet. They said those get posted on Friday but the phone calls would come earlier.
