Admitted with a full faculty scholarship. I received the email on March 5th.
Wow. Nice! Which faculty member? What are your thoughts on schools at this point?

If I get the Consortium fellowship at Tuck, I will probably go there. I like NYU a lot, and I was honest when I told them I would choose NYU over Columbia given the choice, but Tuck will probably work better for my family. Students at Stern give me the "I want to party in NYC" vibe and that is perfectly understandable, but it just seemed like partners weren't as important at Stern as they are at Tuck. I'm getting married soon and I'd like a community where my wife will feel welcome as well. Tuck made her feel very welcome.
Stern students definitely seem much nicer than Columbia students. Columbia students gave me a bad vibe. I guess it's the difference between Columbia and NYU. Columbia is a self-contained fortress in Manhattan. NYU is
part of Manhattan. As a native New Yorker, I like NYU's approach to the city much more.
