Just got the call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Puerto Rico I'm in!!!!!

IN in NYC. Got the (215) call few minutes before 10am. Said to expect an email with more info in about 30 minutes, and that my online status wouldn't change until later today. Good luck everyone!

I know this got buried in the past 24 hours, but I wanted to rehash an earlier post for the nervous ones out there. I certainly was one of them at about this time three months ago.

On the day the decisions are released, admitted students will start getting calls in the morning (eastern time). There seems to be little correlation with calls, except that I believe international applicants often get calls earlier than domestic ones (that's an observation, not necessarily a fact). Domestic applicants started getting calls around 8-8:30 a.m. eastern time (again, an observation, not necessarily a fact). I am on the east coast and I got a call just past 11 a.m. - so don't read too much into timing, especially if you're in the States.

The calls came from admissions officers as well as the second-year admissions fellows. At least as far as the fellows are concerned, they don't get a list of whom to call until the day of, and they get it at different times, depending on their availability. The status changed around noon (I got an email at 12:11 p.m.) the day of, and I believe some people who got in had not gotten the call before that happened.

Got a call 15 mins ago, NYC. In off the waitlist!
Was actually an Arizona number, from a current student.

Just got the call in NY! from a first year, had class from 9-10:30 if you guys were worried about the apparent break in calls!

Got the call this morning ~8:20AM when I was in the shower. (I'm in NYC) Proceeded to play phone tag with the first year for about 20 minutes before we could finally connect. She was calling from a 617 number.

I am so happy and excited and, frankly, so relieved I won't have to be reapplying next year or putting off life plans for another year.

Good luck to everyone else still waiting! Still before noon and I'm sure they have a ton of calls to work through.

In - got a call at 10:40 from a first year's cell out of state. East coast.

They did for me. It went - "Hello this is [xx] calling from the Wharton School. Please give me a call back at your convenience."

Any1 from Asia received the call in the past 1 hr?

Just got the call! I'm in San Francisco. Finally I can relax!
