So has anyone started looking into places to live for next year? My first inclination is the Lower East Side, but I've also heard Murray Hill, Soho, Union Square, or perhaps Brooklyn as options. Would be curious to get some feedback from any NYers or others more familiar with the area...
There was a tread about this on the FB website. I live in ft greene and it takes me 15 minutes to get to Stern door to door. From my pov students live pretty spread out but are mostly in lower Manhattan. What's important is to live either in walking distance or near the A/B/C/D/F/Q/4/5 trains. I would also stay out of Williamsburg, the L train is the WORSE.
