I have a dream study opportunity - off from work for a few month and will be utilizing this time to study and take the gmat. I have a goal of around 740, with diagnostic tests currently in the low 600s. Since I was blessed with this opportunity to study without working, I want to make sure I nail down my study plan so I reach my goal. I currently have the
Manhattan GMAT books, including advance quant and GMAT roadmap and the 12th Ed
OG. My plan is currently (assuming studying 40 horus/week)
Wk 1 - Diagnostic test, Manhattan number properties and FDP doing 2/3 of associated
OG problems
Wk 2 - Manhattan Word Problems, Algebra, Geometry doing 2/3 of associated
OG problmes
Wk 3 - Go over last 1/3 of
OG problems, and
OG Quant book. Take CAT 1.
Wk 4 - Manhattan SC and CR doing 2/3 of associated
OG problems(and review quant flash cards)
Wk 5 -
Manhattan RC doing 2/3 of associated
OG problem. Start
OG Verbal Book
Wk 6 -
OG Verbal book. CAT 2. Manhattan Advance Quant Book
Wk 7 - CAT 2, 3, Review of materials
Wk 8 - Practice, Practice, Practice, CAT 5, 6
Wk 9 - Practice, Practice, Practice.
Any thoughts on this study plan? Was thinking of using a tutor as well.. When should they get involved? Any other resources (Thursdays w/Ron), etc? I know I have enough TIME to meet my goal, I just want to make sure I study "right" and maximize this opportunity.
Thank you!!
