Hello
Do we need to show Extracurricular activities for executive MBA programs? specifically Kellogg Executive MBA program? I thought Full time program stresses on Extracurricular, gmat score etc but executive programs stress on work experience, recos etc. What if one does not have that much Extracurricular activities will that be considered as negative point on executive mba application? can you shed some light?
It's not as important, but
EMBA programsare not
opposed to extra-curricular activities, and they also prefer that applicants be involved in their community, well-rounded, and demonstrate leadership. At the same time, they recognize that EMBAs are working and usually have families so the time constraints may be different. Finally, EMBA programs in general are somewhat less competitive overall. However, all else being equal, highly competitive EMBA programs, also like to see the leadership and community participation valued by FT MBA programs.
Best,
Linda
