Dear GMATTers,

I have taken my MGMAT practice test 2 and got a very low score of 580(quant 42, verbal 29). My first practice test score was 580(quant 43 verbal 26). I got very frustrated seeing my score in my 2nd test as i practiced for 15 days after i took the 1st MGMAT practice test. I found the MGMAT quant section is more difficult than GMAT prep. I took GMATPrep 1 month ago and got 47-48 in quant section. It is very frustrating to see the score decreasing. I am worried that how i will appear in the actual test in the next month. I have one month in hand need to improve my verbal from 29 to at least 35. I thought that my qaunt score of 48(according to gmat prep) is ok, but the MGMAT quant score made me worried about it too. Besides i cant keep pace when CAT test throws tougher and tougher questions. I noticed that i made 6 consecutive mistakes in both verbal and quant in last practice exam. My target score is 660-670.

Please, anyone suggest me what i can do in the next one month i have.

I don't know exactly what you can do specifically to improve, but I certainly echo your sentiment. I am currently prepping right now and I find MGMAT quant to be much harder. I haven't scored above Q44 on any MGMAT CAT, but got a Q48 on both GMAT Prep exams I have taken. Just my 2 cents...

I would not worry about the MGMAT Quant score too much. I found the questions to be tougher than the real thing. The questions are also calculation heavy so I find timing became an issue, whereas on GMATPrep or the real thing this was not a problem for me.
