Re: Kellogg 2013 - Calling All Waitlist Applicants [#permalink]
They are actually all the same clubs and an identicle recruiting process, if you want to participate in them. I specifically asked about those two things. I can be in any of the full-time clubs and I can go through the exact same recruitment process with the same interviews as the full-time students- I just have to go up to Evanston. She said that when companies come to campus to interview, they don't even know who is part-time and who is full-time.

Pretty much the only things I won't be able to do are Qwest, the Aspen ski trip, and spending an entire quarter abroad. There are still events and I can still go abroad for 1-4 weeks and can also do the Global Initiatives in Management course, but I was pretty bummed to not be able to do Qwest. But i'll be alright.

I'm pulling off the Kellogg WL on Monday. Headed across town. Good luck to all who are still waiting. As I found out yesterday, there is still hope.

Has anyone been offered admission to FULL-TIME program (not part-time) or know anyone who has?

As far as I know, no one has received a full-time offer since the R3 decisions went out.

I'm sure you have spoken to some others about this, but I think it depends on what you want to do when you grow up. Does that require an MBA or "just" a masters (which would be an excellent degree). Also, can you wait another year, how confident are you that you would be admitted, etc? The Kellogg degree is probably safer - something that will always help you get a job. That may or may not matter to you.

Hope that was a little bit helpful. Best of luck to everyone trying to figure this out.

Wow. I figured they would have released everyone by now. I have not heard any news. As far as I know, no one was admitted from the WL after R3 decisions.

I've not heard anything either but hey, does that mean we're still considered applicants for the next admission year? ;)

Yes, some people were admitted. My friend got in a week ago. I got an email from them yesterday saying we don't expect to admit anymore students at this point from the WL and a communication will go out NEXT WEEK to all of us possibly saying, " Thank you for applying but sorry no place for you".

Did anyone of you check the new application portal of kellogg?

Till last year, they allowed reapplicants to use their previous interview! Now they dont!

And oh the video essay!!
