Hello,
I'm planning to apply for fall of 14.
I am trying to figure out what I should consider a reach, a match, and a safety school.
My plan is 1 or 2 reaches and 2-3 matches in R1 and then a few safety schools in R2 if those dont work out.

Please let me know your thoughts about my overall profile and the schools I have chosen.
I'm a little surprised at the results. I would encourage you to get an
application evaluation. You want to know if you were making mistakes either with the essays or the interviews. I suspect you blew your interviews.
In any case you need to know if you made mistakes in your previous applications. You don't want to repeat them this year.
If you can improve your app, I suggest you reapply to CMU Tepper and UT. You may want to look into the new Cornell Tech NYC program too. (Listen to the
interview I did with Dean Doug Stayman.) BU, BYU, and Goizueta would also be good options.
Best,
Linda
