Good Afternoon,
Request for profile evaluation,
MBA - Full Time - Operations
University (From possible to dream) - Mays/Kelley/Scheller/Krannert/ISB/Ross/Tepper - Class of 2017 - First Round/Early Decisions etc.
GMAT - 720 (Verbal 38, Quant 50, AWA - 5.5), Retest in May-14, trying very hard for a 750/760
Education - Masters - MS in Construction Management - Florida International University - December 2009 - GPA - 3.94/4.00
Education - Undergraduate - Engineering (Civil) - University of Pune - August 2008 - GPA - 60% (Topper of the Stream Scored 72%)
Work Experience
60 months before hopefully beginning MBA in 2015.
Completely in Operations of large government construction projects for an Indian Multinational.
Single point of contact in Head Office for reporting.
Responsible for Co-Ordination with more than 600 Colleagues and Seniors inclusive.
Overlooking the budgeting and costing processes, progress and management and allocation of resources.
Initiated linear reporting systems, role rotations and reversals, voice your concerns forum.
Extra-Curricular - Lots of Simple Volunteering Work (Akansha, CRY, Smile Foundation).
Certifications in Operations Management, Operations Research, Statistical Quality Control and going for Data Analytics this year.
Thorough knowledge of Statistics, Supply Chain Management
Preparations - Already begun researching writing for basic formats such as Why MBA, Why MBA in Operations, Why now and Why us questions. Focus is on personal introspection and strengths and weaknesses of personal character.
Goals - Short Term Goal - Learn, understand, inculcate and implement rhythmic pattern of business operations. Try to achieve complete harmony in aligning multiple business processes and inputs for smooth and effortless outputs by implementing the teachings of the MBA program.
Long Term Goals - To create, define and establish innovative new techniques in operations of large firms with the purpose of reducing effort, time and resources while improving satisfaction and happiness of the client, stakeholders, business community and society as a whole. In the end it should feel analogous to a melody.
Kindly let me know if you can draw a suggestion based on this.
