thanks guys.... the verbal is somehow easier for me- English isn't even my native language, I spent most my life in Germany. I think it's mostly attitude, for example imagine yourself with some stupid SC questions
blablabl blab, alba blablablabla, BLABLA BLA BABLABLAB.
and then there's 5 options, most of them pretty stupid, too
(1) BLABLA BLA BABLABLAB
(2) BLABLA BABLABLAB BLA
(3) BLABLA! BLA BABLABLABBABLABLAB
(4) BLAAAAAAA BLA BABLABLAB??
(5) BLABLA, BLA, BABLABLAB
Now I plug the answers into the questions and here is what I'm thinking:
BLABLA BLA BABLABLAB?
That just sounds STUPID. Next option.
BLABLA BABLABLAB BLA
That can't be right because of <insert reason here>.....
Etcetcetc. You get the point.
This probably isn't helpful but maybe I can share something else I do on the verbal (but strangely enough not on the quant). I hold my hand over the desk with each finger hovering about an inch over the table... when I decide that one option is out, I put that finger down, e.g. if I rule out D, I put my index finder on the table. I do that with all the options, usually starting with the easy ones first and the one finger left in the air is the answer.
I'll write more about (not) studying for the exam tomorrow... my brain is just mush at the moment (as you will have guessed from by incoherent rambling).
Thanks again!
cool technique. I like it.
