What are my chances at one of the top 5 schools

You mention that the undergrad experience will not be of much help. I was hoping to use some of that especially where I have shown strong leadership skills with tangible results in the form of awards etc. while I was leading a team etc. I also had some experience where I was the organizer for events that had at least 20-25 people in all who were working under me in running the event. I was really hoping to at least bring these up at some point in some of my essays. Could you pl. advise.

One of the reasons for my limited extracurriculars for the last 3-4 years is the fact that I was a part-time student and was also working on a full-time basis. Since I completed school, I have been back to being involved in outside work activities. I am hoping that will be well accepted by the adcoms as long as I present it well enough.

Also, will a 3.3 gpa hurt in top schools like HBS etc. where average gpa's are in the 3.5-3.6 range. The reason why I am asking this is that I was hoping that a 3.3 from a top engg. school + goog GMAT should be enough to prove academic potential so that I can solely focus about my leadership experiences in my essays by focusing on work/undergrad activites/current activities. Do you think I may need to justify at some point why 3.3 and not higher? I don't want to talk about it in the essays unless it may be viewd as a weak point in my application.
