Concurrent Experience while getting my Master's Degree.

Omari/Scott,
My situation is a little unconventional. When I was 18, I started working at my Family's business. I worked 40 hours a week through getting my Bachelor's degree and then again while I was getting my Master's degree.
An interesting aspect of this is that while my business is located in India, I got my graduate degree (Engineering) in the US. Is this going to cause confusion for the admission officers?
Since I was at a senior management level in my Business while I was getting my master's degree, it was relatively easy for me to work by defining my own schedule. I used teleconferencing and email to communicate with my team outside the US.
My grad school schedule was light -- it was only about 3 hours of classes 4 days a week.
Will putting this experience into my application harm me? Since I got my Master's Degree (2 years ago), I've been working for a Fortune 100 company here in the US.
I'm having a hard time figuring out how to use my unconventional experience. Will this experience warrant significant explanation in my essays?
