700 (Q50, V34, AWA 5.5) - Quantitative formula sheet posted

My GMAT Experience:

FINALLY, today I gave my GMAT. I had originally planned on giving my test around end-of-august, but because of the high amount of business-related travel (travel being a non-count word must have high, not large:)), I had to postpone it, and I finally gave it today.

My profile: 25yr old male from Mumbai, India; studied in a reputed US college with B.S. in computer science, working with a software/robitics company. Basically, all the stereotype image you have about computer engineers from India :d

On my practice tests from GMATPrep, I scored 710-720 on both test, with 50 on Quantitative, and 40+ on verbal. So I definitely think I could have done better on verbal, but I am still happy to get 700.

4) I do not recommend any other tests, since they are unofficial, but Kaplan quantitative section is good – don’t give the verbal section from Kaplan – its crap.

## Initial Preparation ##

Sentence Correction:
1) First solve about 15 questions from OG11, to get a feel of what the questions look like.
2) Read Spidey’s SC notes (linked above under electronic references)
3) Solve another 15 questions from OG11, look over what mistakes you made
4) Read Manhattan GMAT SC book completely – it’s the best reference for SC. Topics are very nicely arranged.
5) Start solving questions in groups of 41 from OG11, and make sure you finish then in less than 75 minutes.

Reading Comprehension:
1) Read Rhyme’s strategy linked above. I did not completely follow the strategy. I had my own “modifiedâ€
