RC-1000 Series Reading Comprehension Collection with 439 RC passages with 2,772 questions, Not 1,000 ;-)


We've spent several months:

  • finding all questions and collecting the links.
  • merging all duplicates & finding the best replies from the experts
  • posting the questions that were missing on the forum
  • editing and cleaning all the topics
  • properly tagging all the questions

Just one question - this compilation only contains Official RC's? i checked some links randomly and source was Official Guides only.

No they are not included. I cannot say anything if one can rarely find a passage or two from GMAT prep (diagnostic CATs available free). But i found no passage from exam packs.

It is a subject thing.

It usually depends on the complexity of the passage -- which is not always related to the argument itself (science rather than history) and how the question are formulated.

Usually, a question "according to the passage" which embraces to reply a clear view of the passage as a whole is more difficult than an inference question that asks you specific details about one small portion of the passage.


It is not a scientific process though. Surely, it is difficult to evaluate.

Thank you for the response. Every question has a tag that says the difficulty level. I was looking for something like that to get an idea. For example, the first question's difficulty level tag is 600-700 level, and the second question's difficulty level tag is 700-level (I could not attach the links of the questions).

Yes, the tricky part is that there is no difficulty tags attached questions in the RC. That's the issue we are facing... so before we can provide a table with difficulties, we have to actually calculate the difficulty in RC.... we have been trying to get that for about a year but have been behind. https://gmatclub.com/forum/help-gmat-cl ... 43256.html
