add me to the R2 chaos.

My instinct is that I should be intimidated, but...

680, GPA??? (UK - 1st Class Honours, Top10 school), 28M British, 5.5 Years working experience (Market Risk, Banking)

What are the odds of getting accepted if you get invited for an interview?

I just got an email from GSB saying that if you are not invited to an interview by Feb. 21, you are denied.

Quick and deadly.

Roughly speaking, they interview between 50 to 60% of candidates. This was said by the Dean some time ago in some BW chat. I've lost the link.

From there, I had once upon a time estimated you had a 1 in 2 chance of admittance - it was backed up by data... but I dont remember what the calc was. However, it looks like its closer to 1 in 3 if you trust admissions411. In this case, I think the sample seems large enough to be at least a little trustworthy. So, basically, if you make the interview cut, your odds are 1/3.

The quick and deadly thing is nice if you ask me - i mean if they decide to reject you, why not tell you in Feb? Why make you wait until March or April?

Quick and deadly. More schools need to be like this. Berkeley 1Rers applied back in Nov. 6 and Haas is not even done extending all the interview invites. It's been 2 months!
