Many top schools do not mention cut-off TOEFL score. Only Chicago GSB clearly has a cut-off for TOEFL PBT 600 / CBT 250 / iBT100. However, for the safe side, you must get at least PBT 640/CBT 280/iBT 110 (it's an average TOEFL score). Harvard discourages appliants with TOEFL CBT 280. But I think GMAT is more important!

I have just been waitlisted with Kellogg. When I got the status change I expected worse. Oh well. The next few weeks will tell if I'm going to put any effort into this.

When did u get the email? Today. I was told that they update the status only on Tuesdays and Fridays. I wonder whether that is still valid.

I wonder what is up with Kellogg - as far as I know everyone seems to be waitlisted. I havent seem many admits from Kellogg!

Well I am not sure where I stand with them considering my 2.55 GPA and 640 GMAT - odds are it wont happen - but I am surprised at the number of dings and waitlists coming from this forum. In general though it seems like most schools are relying on the waitlist more then they have in the past.

Kellogg probably wants to ensure its yield is high - still though, I would think at least one GMAT Clubber would have gotten in to the full time program by now.

WOW....kellogg is by far the most selective school so far at Gmatclub for this year.....i dont know what exactly kellogg is looking for....

Yeah! I have not heard of a single admit in GMAT Club into Kellogg!

Looks like Kellogg is turning into an extra selective school! I guess candidates rank Kellogg as a backup for H/S/W that affects their 'yield'.

Besides, 'how interested a candidate is in joining Kellogg', I wonder what else they look at. My interview went evry well (I think), but Kellogg interviews are all blind and they interview almost everyone - so it very difficult to gauge my chances! :?:

Still waiting to see where I stand. Fingers Crossed :dunnow

Since the results seem to be on a rolling basis are the people whose apps not reviewed (or apps not yet gone to completion ) at a disadvantage??

thought i'd add myself to the list of waiters...

minority woman (but not an underrepresented minority :P )
740 gmat
2.7 gpa at ivy league
6 yrs WE in advertising and brand management
good extracurriculars
strong essays (i think!)
located in new england

interviewed on campus in january. anxiously waiting to hear! i jump everytime my phone rings, and i really don't want to see an email in my inbox from them!

waiters ?? Are u waitlisted by kellogg or just awaiting a call from them

awaiting a call/decision. haven't heard anything since my file went "complete" a few weeks ago!

and actually i had a typo for my profile, i have 7 years work experience (not that it matters that much!)
