I've read from these forums that the MBA.com GMAT Pret CAT are the most accurate out there in predicting your final GMAT score.
Well, I finally took my first full test, and the score shocked me.
I got a 770 (Q50 - 95%, V44 - 97%)?!
I'm shocked because I haven't done *any* practice tests or problems up to this point except for the OG11 Diagnostic Test. I started roughly 1-2 weeks ago spending about 10 hours total reading through Princeton Review's strategies quickly, and looking over the questions I missed on the diagnostic test, but that's it.
I have 3+ weeks left till my GMAT, and I'll definitely be doing the OG11 hard questions, the
MGMAT SC book, and not let this score give me a false sense of security. But I just wanted to check whether the scores are indicative of how I might do (with some more studying) on the real test.
If this is somewhat accurate, I'm psyched! I was a little worried that 3-4 weeks of studying wasn't going to be enough. Whew!
Any suggestions? Thank you!
EDIT: I missed 9 questions in Quant and 8 in Verbal, dunno if that's normal for this score or not. I just remember how difficult the test was and how taxing it was.
