My UCLA Family essay has turned out quite well... so I may use it for Stanford's "what matters". That'll give me roughly 700-800 reuseable words (2 pages double spaced), so I'll just flesh it out a bit and I'm done...
My essays are
Essay A - Personal, nothing to do with work
Essay B - Career, professional goals
Essay C1 - Professional Leadership
Essay C2 - Extracurricular Leadership
50% pro/50% personal... should be a good mix. Too bad I won't talk about my volunteering at all since there are no essays for that. Essay A will have to compensate.
