Hell. There seems to be something wrong with the HBS online app. I'm not able to upload files...This is not good.

Is that problem due to overload of last min submissions?

I've got all my recommendations in!!! I've uploaded all of my essays and I'm going to give it one final review tonight before I submit it. 1 down, 2 to go for R1.

Three

Thanks. Is normal? I would have guessed two at most places. Do they specify if at least 1 should be non-work related?

No. They prefer all three to be professional. Moreover, this may come as a surprise (It was quite surprising to me), they prefer to get all three of the recos from supervisors or clients -- Peer recos are not encouraged.

Hmm...that could be tough for me. I don't work with a client-company and there's only 2 people that I report to, directly or indirectly, in the company (both of which I had planned to use already).

Do they specify that supervisors need to be relatively recent? I'll be applying next year and the only other supervisor I'll have had will have been gone for well over 2 years.

If I may ask - what are the stats of everyone here applying for harvard? gpa? gmat score? extracurric? work exp?

Just wondering what the applicant-base for the almighty HBS consists of... ;]

Does anyone know when HBS sends out their interview invites? I imagine it will be sometime before Thanksgiving, but am not sure.

Atleast that wait will be much more bearable than waiting till Jan 16th .

interesting that HBS wants 3 work recos... I'm glad Stanford asks for the 3rd to be peer, otherwise I don't know who my 3rd reco would be...

From what I've read/heard, if you don't get an interview invite by mid-December, you are pretty much a ..... that which we do not speak of. :-)

For the Self Reported Transcript, I found a field for Term GPA.

Where does one mention the Cumulative / Overall GPA?

That's on the data form in the online app.
