How close are you to submitting? I'm going to upload my essays. Any specific formatting guidelines for Wharton? I don't recall seeing any...

No formatting guidelines. I ended up using 12 pt Times New Roman and double-spaced just to make it super easy for them to read, since the word count guidelines made length really specific.

Don't worry about the prompts since each page will have a watermark with the essay topic on it. I repeated the essay prompts anyway.

I'm going with the HBS guidelines: 12 pt times new roman, single spaced. All the best guys!

I am in the final round of the essay-review process. I think I have entered almost all the details in the application. So, after the review, I'll go through the entire application again, print the application to see that everything looks fine, and then submit. So, I'll join you official Wharton submitters in 3-4 hours.

All the best to all.

I am still struggling with the leadership essay. I think I just need a strong ending.

But, all the online stuff is done. Essay 1 and 2 complete. So the end looks near.

I submitted about an hour ago. Good luck to all of you submitters.

One word of warning. The character limits in the 'employment' section are incorrect. You actually have about 30 characters less than what it shows. I found it the hard way after fiddling with one rather long employment detail section.

i found it to be about 10 characters short. really really annoying. i would type in the text box and the counter would say 0 characters left, but after i save it, the last 10 characters i typed were gone.

Whoa .. I checked the print-view of the application and they reformat all the text that we enter. All the newlines in the "Job duties" are gone, and that makes it a very tough read. I've gotta have newlines there. Any suggestions?
dont use the html print preview. use the pdf preview in the check application section.

It retains the text formatting in the pdf version so don't despair.

I was a bit worried about it too, since all my resume formatting appeared lost when I did the HTML preview. But thankfully its all good once you submit.

Hey, can one of the mods put up the consolidated list of R-1ers on page-1 of this thread?

Re: Calling all Wharton 2008 applicants [#permalink]
do you mean all the R1'ers of Wharton or of the entire club?

If you compile it on a post, I can move it to page 1 for you.
