You should go for it if you have a unique XC. Thats exactly the kind of info that will be well-received.

R1 applicants: how did u handle promotions with the same employer? did u enter them as a single entry or create one for each position?

Anyone hearing anything from Cornell regarding interviews or any change in status?? Its going to be almost three weeks pretty soon enuf..

Any R1 US citizens get an email about the Parker scholarship?

I heard last year they sent another essay question out a couple of weeks after the deadline date.

True enough. They ask you to submit another essay (with a 10-day deadline from notification).

if they like you as a finalist for the park, they actually admit you early so you can go to one of their weekends. But they make you swear not to go public with your acceptance until the regular notification date. They don't want a million calls from panicked applicants.

People are already freaking out that their application is not under review.

I'm freakin' out that I haven't been called to an interview.

Just wanted to let you know that interview intivations are going out. I just got mine this afternoon. FYI - I submitted on the 4th of Oct and my app went "under review" on the 12th.
