Same here. Have got the interview invite... checking options as far as there will hardly be an alumnus in my city :)

Congrats, R.E.D.!
What city are you in?
Ekaterinburg

Consider visiting Moscow for an alumni interview?
Don't think so. Too expensive - flight is minimum 336 USD and I would spend another 30-40 for transport and food. There is also Sky Express, but they can withdraw cheap flights at the moment you need them.

Well, looks like a phone interview is the only option in this case.

I know it is only day 1 of the invites but I have not seen a single Indian get an invite- either on GMATclub or at bweek. Kind of odd :)

Yeah! Not CBCD though. In any case, CBCD doesn't sound as cool as ABCD.

helg, RED: congrats on the invite.

Question to all invitees:What time of the day did you get the invitation email? Just trying to figure if they are all sent at once.

From: Application Interview for MBA <ApplicationInterviewforMBA>
Sent: Thursday, November 8, 2007 3:55:55 PM
Subject: Invitation to Interview at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business

After reviewing your application, we would like to formally invite you to interview for admission to the MBA program at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business. We utilize the interview as a complement to your application materials, to learn more about you, and to provide you an opportunity to further assess the program’s fit with your personal and professional goals.

To allow for maximum convenience, we provide multiple options for the interview, all of which are weighted and viewed exactly the same during the applicant review process. You may:

1. interview with a member of the Alumni Admissions Committee. The Office of Admissions will match you with an appropriate member of the AAC with whom you will arrange your interview at a mutually convenient time. These interviews are usually in person but are occasionally conducted by phone for practical reasons. Many prospective students find this to be a much more flexible and viable option.

2. interview with a member of the Admissions staff. These interviews are conducted by phone or in person in Ann Arbor. Interviews with Admissions staff occur during standard office hours.

You are invited to interview between November 13 and November 21, 2007. In order to accept our invitation to interview, you must send an updated copy of your resume (file named “LastName_FirstName”) via email to rossintv@umich.edu. The subject line of this email should indicate your preference for interviewing either with an Alumni Admissions Committee member (Request to Interview with AAC) or with a member of the Admissions staff (Request to Interview with Admissions Staff). You will then receive further instructions on how to proceed.

We look forward to hearing from you and wish you success in the interview process.

Regards,

Interview Office

Office of Admissions

Stephen M. Ross School of Business

University of Michigan

Clobo, I haven't decided on the day yet.

WOW, Nervous I would never have taken you for a UFC fan. Evans is going to win cause he will get on top and have the single most boring 3 round decision of the night.

Fight of the night is going to be Houston Alexander and Thiago Silva.
