It might sound very stupid but I am going to ask you any way.
How old are you? I am also having same age concern and would like to benefit from your teleconversation experience.

I am 34 now...

I'm going to let Dave reply for himself, but at the Accepted.com web site there is an article, "Applying to Regular MBA Programs as an Older Applicant," which gives advice for older MBA applicants.
