Congrats! How about anyone else? Any more admits/dings for UNC yet? I haven't heard yet - though I think I have already decided to attend UWashington regardless of what happens.

You have gotten some sort of financial assistantship from every school but K right? :)

Thank you, cereals, paulk, westsider, and dosa!

Dosa, yes I did, if you count Ross' 5K/year as a scholarship :-) I am still waiting to find out how much $ Duke decided to gift me ;)

Nervous, you should just post admits to GSB, Yale, and Darden...call it a preemptive strike since you seem destined to go 7 for 7.

80% is a nice chunk of change...adds another wrinkle in your decision. Hopefully we can sway you at DAK to ignore the money and join us.

Congrats Nervous...
Question, did you receive a phone call from UNC or just an email?
Also, what time did you get the email?
I thought UNC results will be out on Feb 4th...

Thanks!

So, either the deadline for notification is Feb 4th (not the 1st) or I didn't get in (or both) :-D

westsider,
You shouldn't worry: the official notification deadline is Feb 4th. UNC e-mailed only admitted fellows (scholarship recepients?) today to inform them about the Fellows Visit event that requires a reply from the attendees by Feb 4th.
miketal20,
I did not receive a phone call, only an e-mail.

Good luck on Monday to all!

Got an e-mail today stating that I have been admitted to UNC Kenan-Flagler’s MBA class of 2010 and that the "Fellowship Committee has selected you to receive a fellowship equal to eighty (80%) of your tuition and required fees!!!"

I am soooo excited!

UNC is hosting a Fellows Visit on Monday, February 18 and Tuesday, February 19 and will pay for travel to Chapel Hill and lodging. I am debating whether I should go as this event conflicts with my Yale interview...

Good luck to everyone still waiting for the decision!

Congrats again, nervous! I think we should start a congrats nervous thread... that way we don't have to post so many times under the individual school threads. Also, Good luck to everyone waiting for the decision on Monday!

Congratulations nervous....4 out of 4. It will probably end up 7 out of 7, I cant wait to see where you end up. Kellogg should offer you money just based on the success you have had with all your applications..

Just make sure you look at a scholarship as being $500 a month or $6k a year (yes thats for 10-15 years) and decide if another school may cost more up front but will have a large ROI.

So now with big bucks from Duke are you crossing UNC off your list?

I'll make a decision after going to UNC's Fellows Visit event on Feb 18-19.

KF is flying all of the fellows to the event for free and provides free accommodations - no $$ involved for me! And no, I am not going to all 7 admit weekends :-)
