R2 applicant - was waitlisted after interview as well. Have not been able to convert the w/list till now - but for whats its worth - have sent them 2 additional recos an 1.5 update statement. 2 dudes or the R1 w/list did manage to move off - they both also submitted abt the same amt of stuff.

An hey - dont lose hope - its not over till Oprah starts to sing.

From what I have heard about the waitlist, they review the waitlist after the admission rounds results and after the deadlines for replying have passed. So for the people that have been waitlisted in previous rounds this means that we should be hearing back within the next week or so. Right about now my fingers are cramping from crossing them so long :P

LOL! Ever since working part time, I sleep at random times. Right now I'm in Asia, so my hours will be very strange indeed! :P (Ironically I've been sleeping very regular hours while I've been here)

I was called by a member of Admissions when I got off the waitlist. Good luck to everyone waiting to hear. kryzak and I need some more GMAT clubbers to join us next year!

Well, it seems that the majority if not everyone else on the waitlist has heard as to their fate. I am still in the dark though. I'm not sure what's happening but I'm hoping it's a good sign. I do know that when everyone else on the WL received an update email last week I didn't receive anything, so maybe I am not on their auto-email list. I'm just a bundle of nerves right now and can't wait till their office opens tomorrow morning so I can ask them what's going on. Well, I'm still hoping that I haven't heard yet because they are trying to decide if they are going to give me an offer of admission. I sure hope I join you guys at Haas.

The email that everyone on the WL got said that they gave out 0 admissions to the WL in this round. They took some people off the WL and the next notification will be May 28.

I was one of the lucky/unlucky ppl they took off the waitlist. Had desperately been waiting for an admit.........But looks like I was meant to be a reapplicant :)

Best of luck to those still waiting.

Would like to thank all gmatclubbers an especially isentropic, kryzak, rhyme, naturallight an braindancer for making this rather torturous journey so enjoyable.

Am gonna be hanging round these boards for a while - all applicants who want to find out what not to do gimme a shout out :)

Definitely just met a Haas student here at my guesthouse in Siem Reap Cambodia who is here on their 3 week international nonprof project/class with their group (working for WCS). Thought Haas applicants would be interested to know these things are actually real not just literature :)
