IMO B)

In science language the right idiom is "generalization of"

D is correct.

E is wrong
little of differences -- wrong
few of differences -- correct
even if you replace "little" with "few" then E is wrong.
becuase verb "is" should be "are"

Shouldn't it be "generalization of" ?


we can give additional information about something by using 'that' and 'which'.
here author wants to give additional info about this generalization.

"there is little that is significantly different in the underlying mental processes manifested by people from different cultures." is the generalization that needs to be conveyed to the reader.

support the generalization that is correct.

D Vs E
D is better
