Got an email at 9:01 PM PST that said my status has been updated to "received."

Your application has been received and is currently being prepared for review. Please be patient during this process.

Got the same thing around midnight last night.

My application went complete today.

Looks like mine did as well, except I didn't get an email for this second status change.

No email either. Just showed up on the website.

You can send in a PDF copy of your unofficial transcript. I yanked mine off the registrar website and away I went to Kinko's. Much less painful than entering it into an excel sheet.

Also, did anyone notice they pushed the deposit deadline back significantly? It states March 12 on the website, but then it says April 30 when you submit your app. Pretty sweet...if that's something I have to worry about.

Yeah its nice that they are doing that, especially if someone gets into Darden and gets waitlisted elsewhere.

I will be attending the reception in LA on Wednesday.

Count me out! I wont be able to make it from Texas. Terp06, do post your experience after the event. And speak with the Dean if he is in attendance. He is terrific.

I will second that. Dean Bruner is an excellent spokesperson for the school, and those who know my story know that my meeting with him at an event like this was pivotal in getting me to learn more about Darden, which eventually led to visiting the school, meeting more people, applying and finally attending.

He'd also be an excellent person to listen to right now because he's an expert on financial crises (his book from last year titled Panic of 1907 seems particularly relevant right now) and finance in general. If you get a chance to go, I think you'll also be able to observe the tight community that carries across graduating classes and generations. Even in places far from campus like San Francisco (which I attended a few years ago) and Los Angeles, the community spirit really comes through in the people and in the presentation.

I'm keeping an open mind to Darden. The rigorous academics and solid reputation among the finance community definitely attract me.

No activity on this thread for a few days. Whn do u think would the interview invites start coming in? My app went complete today. Did anyone check the thread from last year?

Mine still says "recieved"...... did you get a status update mail too??? (coz someone here did not)
