The official guide books (orange, purple and green) has 1401 problems excluding the diagnostic test.

any strategy how we can handle this and make sure we track all the errors and also complete it????

Do we really need to solve extra problem than the OG??? I started in yesterday and completed 150 problems so far...
100 PS and 50 SCs...any idea what percentage of good answers are best, good and satisfactory in terms of 700+, 600+ and 500+ respectively ??/

Thanks for any help!
Abhi

I have finished OG once.
For 700+ 85% accuracy at least
For 600+ 75% accuracy at least
For 500+ No accuracy is needed. This is minimum I have heard  , you will get this much unprepared.

I have done 1000 documents as such and some test materials apart from OGs + some tests

I dont have error logs for OG problems in soft. I have it in notepad. Sorry about that.

If you want i can share my own log for other tests. But they might not be useful for you as you are using different material.

I am working on my OG right now!!! I am past 600 problems and I have created a road mad that i can use to complete OG in 14 days, I am not sure if that's alot. What are the 30 sets you are talking about????
the accuracy you are talking about, is that your acccuracy or is that what is required??
I am having some severe timing issues on CRs.. I am not sure is it because of my slow reading or the strategy istself.

I am tryin to create a log for the strategies and errors in an excel sheet.

I have just written one test long 4 months back and scored 570, which is loooooooooooow and haven't written anything so far. how many test have you written so far and what's your average score???

Hi.. I am appearing on 24th Jan... I have finished OG11, Kaplan, Manhattan SC book each once (sorry I didnt prepared any sheet and my verbal notes are on a notebook  ). As of today after 1.5 months preparation, I feel my score hasn't improved much. I am scoring in range of 650 - 680 consistently. I am thinking whether working on a test series will help me. I am not very positive on verbal but I think Quant score can be improved ( I am consistently committing silly mistakes on quant). I am scoring in range of 42 - 46 in quant and 30 - 35 on verbal consistently.

Any suggestions which test series should I buy now ? GAMT CLUB or Manhattan. or is there any other also?

Thank in advance.

Hi, I have heard that the GMAT CLUB test are good and correct me if i am wrong that gmat prep are the exams which truly projects your score closeset to your real score. I would worry so much if the GMAT prep gives you that score. Look into the best post and there is post that shows you how to improve you score in quant.

I am half past OG and You may think I am going slow but I am tracking every wrong problem with time and Error I am making. i can post my error log soon and you guys can check if the error are similar and work on them appropriately.

My accuracy on quant is okay but SC which I thought I was good at is going bad, seems like I am not having a right approach to work on it under time pressure. My wife wrote GMAT last year and I have her GMAT prep cd too. do you guys think it would be a good resource for test??

Hey, I tried uploading the 1000 series but looks like the file size is too big, pass me youe email address and I can send you the stuff.

good luck!

@Abhishek.pitti

Thanks Abhi..

GMATPrep is must. Actual score is generally very near to GMATPrep's score. So I would suggest completing both tests of GMAT Prep before actual tests. If you cross 700 ( or if you have any other std), it will build up your confidence, and if you dont it will help in analyzing what needs to be improved.

Taking the GMAT on Monday (gulp!)

MGMAT 1-640 (36Q/41V)
MGMAT 2-660 (44Q/36V)
MGMAT 3-590

Taking MGMAT 4 tomorrow. Planning of saving the 2 power prep tests for Friday and Saturday. My scores have a lot of variance- I'm hoping to close th gap in the next couple of days..
