Hmm....In that case you'll have to make a decision before even attending the respective admit weekends. Does Yale have a 1Y program too? Are you planning on returning to your current employer? Just curious why you decided to opt for the 1Y program.

I will probably go to DAK because I live fairly close to Yale, but maybe I'll have made a decision before then anyway.

Yale is 2Y. I applied to Kellogg's 1Y because I'm not a career-switcher (although a company switcher) and to save time/money (downside being less time to enjoy B school and graduating in a potentially rougher market in 2010).

The 1Y vs. 2Y issue will probably be the biggest factor in my decision.

Now that I've been waitlisted and dinged so far, I hope Chicago gives me a reason to smile later this month :)

Sorry to hear man. Considering you've been able to get a WL at the beast that is Columbia, you definitely have a great shot.

Building on what bostonsparky said, you were also waitlisted at MIT........MIT was responsible for GMATClubs biggest blood bath ever in Round 1!

Yeah, waitlist at MIT is probably tougher than HBS this year!

That place is vicious. And predictable:

Post 1: "Don't want to start another fight, but how about school A vs. B?"
Post 2: "All smart people go to school A and no other school. All school B people are idiots."
Post 3: "You're an idiot for ever suggesting that A is even in the top 1000."

Hey all, I just got the admit call for the MMM program today!

I was WLed in R1.

Just a tip for all of you people still waiting -- it's somewhat a complete crapshoot. I was dinged w/o interview at Ross, HBS and Sloan.

Fortunately the odds are much better (but the cost of the ticket quite a bit more)!
