You need to provide more information if you actually want a real answer. What are your goals, any personal reasons for one over the other...significant other moving with you, doing a long distance relationship.

Asking people to decide between two schools without any information isnt going to get you anywhere.

agree with River - I'm a big fan of taking scholarship money but 20k isn't that significant with these two schools it is really going to come down to your goals and what part of the country you want to end up.

Yes, my husband has also got into Cornell so thats an added advantage (to not have a long distance relationship) with the 20K scholarship..

My goals: I'm interested in Marketing in the short term and Sustainable/ Social Enterprise over a long term. After my MBA, I'd like to work in the North East region - no particular city in mind - I am an international student from India.

What do you guys suggest? With my goals in mind, is it worth studying in 2 different schools i.e., Ross & Cornell?
Thanks again!

IMO I'd give a slight edge to Ross as far as your goals go because you used the term "sustainability"

Of course if it was me I'd go to Cornell and be with your husband, no way I'd be able to do two years apart from my significant other if I had an alternative to be in the same place. There just isn't enough of difference between the two schools to warrant the two years apart and Cornell is an incredible school.

You need to create your own thread so that you'll get responses. you are not likely to get responses to your post when you include yours at the end of someone else's.

It's hard to say based on the info you've given. Obviously all these programs are terrific and could be considered "peer" schools. Do you have a geographic preference? What is your current financial situation like (would 20,000 help you a lot currently?).

All things equal I'd take Ross in a heart beat. They seem to be strong in all fields, have a vast and passionate alumni network and I've heard pretty decent things about Ann Arbour (it kills me to say that being that i'm a Wisconsin undergrad student but comfortable that I was in the greatest college town in America-Madison).

Either way, you're in a great situation. Make the decision for yourself as its highly personal and the only way you'll be completely satisfied is if you listen to yourself. You're in good shape, congrats, make a choice and revel in that choice!

Go to Cornell - its a great school and seems to be getting better. you have a scholarship and your husb is there. seems like a no brainer to me.
