I think this question# 36 is wrong in m13. Can anybody please elaborate.

If x is a positive integer, what is the hundreds digit of x^x ?

x is divisible by 10.
x is even.
Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but Statement (2) ALONE is not sufficient
Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but Statement (1) ALONE is not sufficient
BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient
EACH statement ALONE is sufficient
Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient

Statement (1) by itself is sufficient. The hundreds digit of will be 0.

Statement (1) by itself is insufficient. The hundreds digit of cannot be determined.

The correct answer is A.

if x=20 which is divisible by 10. then 20^20 = 400 and its hundreth digit is 4 not 0. I selected option E.

If x is divisble by 10 then it can be 10, 20, 30...

If we take 10^10 we get : 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 ...The hundreds is 0
If we take 20^20 we get : 20 x 20 x 20 x 20....The hundreds is 0
You see, in all the case the hundreds is 0

Stmt 2 is insufficient.

So answer A.

Can someone please help with Q25 on M13?
The explanation in the review mode is not clear at all. Thank you.
Specifically, if angle ADB is > angle CAD, isn't that sufficient? that is, isnt statement #2 sufficient on its own?

Please note the difference between the images below the S2 explanation in the OE. It clearly demonstrates that using the info from S2 only we can't be sure that arc AB is longer than arc CD. In the first image arc CD is shorter than arc AB, in the second image CD is longer than AB. Note that S2 is true for both images. So, we have two ways these angles can be drawn and S2 is not sufficient by itself.

I hope it helps.

i would rate this test as a little hard compared to first 12. Got 14 incorrect, out of which 2 were silly mistakes and most were new concepts or tough problems.

learnt a lot from this set of 37 though. :-D
