hellopalo: The way I look at it is Q1 = who you are, Q2 = what you want to do, Q3 = what have you done in the past...making Q3 very important. If you go by the recommended word limits, 2 x 300 words is longer than Q2. For me, it's an opportunity to expand on what might just be a bullet point on my resume and talk about why it was important to me.
Re: choices, I don't think there are A-D options that you should force an answer to if you have entrepreneurial aspirations. I say pick the ones resonate with you. I did a quick rough outline for all four and then selected what I felt were the two strongest.
jankynoname: ditto on the info session. I'd been to another Stanford event before so I've heard a lot of the academic structure, etc. but it was great to hear from the alumni panel. It really helped me cement my decision to apply. It also helped me rethink parts of my essays.
