Just wondering if anyone else that submitted has gone back into the application tool. Does anyone see where you can verify the uploaded docs went through ok for the essays and the PPT?

I found where you can print the whole application, but it doesn't let you check the files you uploaded there. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but it'd be nice to be able to double check that all is well.

Mine is the same way, it wouldn't print essay and slides. No worries.

Just submitted...

Were you able to view the essays and ppt after you uploaded? If so I wouldn't stress about whether they got sent

Yes, I could view them pre-submission. I'm probably just over-thinking it... of course, the more I think about it the more I worry about whether I sent in the final version of my PPT... :P

How did you put your name on the PPT? I left mine in the notes, but was planned on submitting as a PDF so nothing can get screwed up.

My PPT has my name on the title slide, but not the others - I thought that the name thing was referencing the text essays, not the slides...

Another thing to worry about! :(

I used a header at the very top of each slide that contains the title of the presentation and my full name. Each slide then had its own sub-theme.

submitted earlier this afternoon.

for ppt - i used the header tool in adobe to put in my name.

I could view my essays and ppt. before submitting, but they dont print / show on the html version. Thats ok - (I am a reapplicant, so i saw that last year). Don't worry about it. Go out and get a drink / relax; there isnt much more you can do about it.

as far as recommenders etc. - last year Rose sent an email on the day off or the next day saying they would allow recommendations to be submitted upto a week late. But i havent seen any such thing this year. Either way - there is only so much you can do so dont loose sleep over it. (i know easy for me to say).

typically thats pretty much the last date on which you find out if you are being interviewed. If you dont hear by the mid-decision date, then on that date you will probably recieve the ding...

I got confirmation that recs can be sent until the 21st from adcom. I reminded my recommender that the app was due today, but he showed me a screen shot from the rec form that officially states it can be submitted up to the 21st as well. Interestingly, the other rounds do not state similar leeway.

it sounds like interview invites will be sent as decisions are made. Since my second rec isn't coming until the weekend, I might end up having to wait a long time for any news :(

I spoke with my manager (who submitted my rec last night) and she said the same thing. Their emails and submission tool tell them they have another week, so don't stress out too much if you don't see your letters in yet.
