that is a question for the admissions office. I would give them a call. I think you need the scores to be complete, but I'm not sure.

Hi Kryzak,

I took GMAT yesterday and scored a mere 700 (Q49,V36). I am a female though. Do you think I stand any chance for getting admitting into the full time program.
Do I retake? I am confused at this point and so looking forward for your reply

Hi,

the average GMAT score of Haas is 714, your 700 score is not just a "mere" score. It's good enough. Focus your efforts on selling your past experiences, logically telling a story about how you can leverage that and your MBA at Haas to achieve your short and long term goals, and paint a 3-d picture of yourself to the Adcom.

Don't worry that much about the GMAT scores. :)

R1 is coming up. Any volunteers who want to organize all the R1 applicants and keep track like the first page of this thread? I still haven't seen any applicants with the initiative yet.

I've done it for the past 2 years, and it's time to pass the baton on to another enthusiastic Berkeley-Haas applicant. :P

WOW, I didn't realize that many people were applying R1! for some reason it was so quiet here that I didn't think anyone was applying to Haas (now the #1 school in the US based on economist.com :P) this year. :D

Submitted my App for R1, before leaving for vacation a couple of days back.

Now into the long waiting period. Any idea how long it would take before the first interview calls get mailed?

in the past I've heard people get interview invites starting in mid-December. Though with an earlier R1 this year, I'm not sure.

Hi Kry,

I was wondering if you could elaborate on Haas's strengths in nonprofit management. I've heard a lot about Haas's strengths through the CSR program, but for me, I'm looking in particular to build strong nonprofit management skills and lead my nonprofit educational organization after my MBA program.
