Depends - are you applying through Sloan or through the engineering school? Of course it's acceptable regardless, but I would guess that it's even more acceptable if you're applying through the engineering school.

And for all those posting grad GPAs - what's your undergrad GPA? (I think that's much more relevant to admissions.)

From what I've read, they sent the invites out today in 2009 and 2008...

What do you mean "but for next year"? Did you submit the app three weeks ago?

No, I didn't submit an application three weeks ago. I'm going to apply next December.

Oh, well your scores are awesome. Why didn't you apply for this year?

Thanks. Too bad scores are only part of the game.

I'm still on the low end of work experience, so I'm waiting until next year to apply. Hopefully apps don't go up too much between now and then (I heard they were up by quite a bit this year).

Hey all, good to see LGO has its own thread.

I got my Interview invite today, although they stress that if you don't hear from them in the next day or two they are sending out invites through March 8th, regardless of the interview fest.

A little about me - 730-Q49/V41/6 GMAT; 3.66 in Engineering at a service academy with 5 years experience in the military.

Best of luck to all of you out there, I hope to see some of you at the Interview Fest!

Hey Hermes,

What makes you say "although they stress that if you don't hear from them in the next day or two they are sending out invites through March 8th, regardless of the interview fest."? Was there something in the email expressing this?

Yeah, in the interview invite it said to let friends and colleagues know this, as with them doing on-sight interviews on specific days I am figuring they do not want people to automatically assume they were dinged if they did not get an interview invite in the next few days.
