choag82: Did you submit after the R2 deadline? I too did the same, I submitted mine on 7th Jan 2010. And still don't know if my app is being considered in R2 or R3.

The the online status just says, "Submitted". Any advice?

I'm also worried about round 2 vs round 3. I submitted my app on time, but one of my referrals got in a little late, I think they may have pushed me to round 3 since I didn't receive an email saying my application was complete. I'm going to call the adcom tomorrow but did everyone with an invite get an email earlier confirming that their application was complete?

My online status was updated to "complete" on the 27th, just as the adcom email indicated.

When you pressed submit, it sent you an email acknowledging your submission and the Round for which you submitted for. What does it say in there?

just got my R2 interview invite around 4:00 pm EST, so they're definitely still sending them out incrementally :wink:

It's only been 1 week since they started going out. In Round 1, it sounded like they were sending out invites over the course of 2-3 weeks.

Hi all. New to the forum. I received my interview invite yesterday with instructions on how to schedule. But, when I clicked the link to schedule an on-campus interview the only dates listed were for tomorrow through next week (Feb 5-12). While that is a super quick turn around for someone like me on the east coast, even if I could get out there next week all the dates were full...

Is anyone else having the same problem? I was going to call the admissions office, but if someone here has a quick fix, I'll happily take it.

I think your best option is to reply back to that email to request an off campus interview instead.

That's odd.. I got my invite last week, and the only dates that were offered were through 2/12 as well, although I had some earlier options as well. I had assumed that they would open up later dates for those invited later.

I had the same issue and called the addmissions office to inquire about a later date. They said if I couldn't make it before the 12th then I had to do a local interview in SF. I will be going down Thursday the 11th.

I feel your pain on the quick interview turnarounds. I got my invite a few days ago and had to schedule it today because I leave for Brazil in the morning. Now or never.

Not as prepared as I would like, but at least I did my research on the questions. Wish me luck!
