Hello, as you may be aware, we have had a few people sending PM's to others with SPAM content on GMAT Club.
We are aware of the issue and putting measures in place so that it does not happen again.

Update:
We have removed all of the spam messages
We have also changed preferences on the site to allow only a single person to be contacted via PM.


We take spam seriously. Please report any similar instances to the admin/moderator team.

We've removed all spam messages from the users we identified as spammers, so there is this side effect.... :?

If possible we can restrict the users to send PM. Users only with 5+ kudos or 30+ post should allowed to send.

why? well, they can't succeed on such an intellectual forum like gmatclub.

I got that mail.... It was about some exams...

I feel they have added every one in BCC and sent a single PM(this info may help in blocking these type of msgs).

A majority of the time, whenever I try to read the PM (after selecting Yes for the PM pop-up - You have received a PM) then I am switched to the page:

advanced-search/ucp.php?i=pm&folder=inbox

I have attached the screenshot FYI.
