Hello,
Im a non-native english speaker. My reading speed is very slow because I have never had a habit of reading. My vocabulary/grammar is decent, so I do well on Sentence Correction. But in order to be able to complete the verbal section comfortably with high comprehension what should I practice?
I am aiming for a 720+ score and have just about 2 months before the exam (november 12th). I have all the
MGMAT books, should I be buying
powerscore CR as well ?
Have no idea about LSATs and whether they would be helpful for RC / CR , and how many of the questions should I do etc?
Any suggestions would really help me out .
Thanks
Hi trad, welcome to gmat club!!!
First of all you cant say that you will do good in SC as your grammer/vocab is fine.
GMAT SC is quite a different beast that requires a different strategy altogether. You have
MGMAT guides & I think these are quite sufficient to cross 700. Kindly also note that these books help you understand & devise some necessary strategies to tackle GMAT, rest of the hard work lies with the student. So be proactive in your apporach & make intensive use of
MGMAT guides.
For CR, I think
MGMAT guides is enough, but if you are curious to see
Powerscore CR then you may go through it. But dont utilize both
MGMAT & P.Score CR. Just follow the strategies mentioned in anyone of these books.
Best of luck & keep us posted.
