hey guys...
i just came after giving my GMAT..got awful 590...don't know what happened but i completely blanked out..missed couple of questions in quant and also in verbal..still my quant went pretty well though got my a** kicked in verbal...
i was thinking of applying to some US B-schools in hope that i would get somewhere around 640-700.. but alas..it was not to be true...
i feel really rejected..
I want some suggestions from you guys...should i re-take my GMAT in another 5 months or so or should i give my application a try in few universities...below is my profile:
GMAT : 590
TOEFL iBT : 108
GPA: 3.5 / 4
WE- by fall 2011 - 2.5 yrs
additional WE - 1 year
Sports - good ( played for the college )
Extra curricular activities - Good
the thing is that i have to complete my MBA anyhow by 2013..and i was thinking of applying to US B-schools where MBA is of 2 years for fall 2011 batch..
now i have got 2 options-
a. apply now to a US B-school ( and get rejected because of GMAT )
b. prepare and apply to B-schools with 1 yr of course
i am seriously in fix.. experts, please advice. and if i have even slightest of chances of getting into a fairly decent B-school (even without financial aid ), pls let me know which schools i can apply to.
Thnx guys!!
P.S. - thanks to all you guys for my 590. i wouldn't have got even that without your help..
