Yeah, it was a R1 app. My other R1 schools weren't receptive to my interests in them either. I have R2 apps out there and tried to better my case for being admitted, but without any feedback, it's very hard to gauge what was missing, if anything. We'll see what happens. I'm cautiously hopeful.

hi there,

I am a R1 applicant from Australia/UK. I have not heard anything back with regards to my application. Do you think this is a likely rejection given that most who have been waitlisted or requested for an interview have already been advised?

Are there any other applicants from the Uk or Australia?

Hope to hear frrom someone.

Many international applicants are yet to hear from Stern, especially if the applicant is from any of the countries (China, India, and UK) where the adcom will be travelling for off-campus interviews. There is also the unconfirmed report that International R1 and R2 applicants are clubbed together and the interviews are conducted for both set of applicants during early March. This could be the reason why internationals have not heard yet.

I am hoping that this wait is not a prelude to a mass waitlist/ding. :roll:

Was it after interview? Has Stern started out to hand dings without interviews? If yes, I am keeping my hopes down. :(

Hello all...

Submitted my app for R2 at Stern and am wondering when they usually start sending notifications / interview invites? I still haven't even received the Application Status Check Website login info nor the confirmation of receipt of my application. I am sorry if this is discussed elsewhere, tried to search forums quickly but no luck.

If you scroll up a little bit, you'll see some interview recaps and advice. The biggest thing is to know your application thoroughly as the interview is non-blind.

Hello All,
I just called the stern admissions office and was told that international students might hear a little later as they plan to send a team out to various locations to conduct the interviews. So if you are an international student, sit tight, there is still hope!

So far the two dates that people have heard on are 12/20 (Monday) and 1/5 (Wednesday). Each of those are roughly two weeks apart, so perhaps this week?
