I'm going to retake the TOEFL because one of the schools that I applied told me so. Apparently, they need a 22 on each section and I scored 20 on one section and a total of 100. Still, they need me to retake it :shock: .
anyway, I wanted to know if any one knows the retake policy - how many days we need to wait before retaking it etc? And how many days does ETS take to report TOEFL scores(I dont remember my last time :-D )
I have my GMAT test on march 26 but I want to be done with the TOEFL iBT and am planning on taking it next week end. Not sure if this is a good idea but I think I dont have a choice...The deadlines for this school are april 15 so I thought it is beter i finish TOEFL now itself.

There's a table on the ETS site which contains the details about which all days TOEFL is conducted and the tentative date by which the score will be sent. I don't know about the re-take policy though.

I'm appearing for TOEFL day after tomorrow.... 26th Feb
As per the site, my scores will be posted on March 11 :P

The retake policy is the following: you can take toefl once in a 7 day period. If you take the test more than once in this period, your scores won't be reported. Besides that, I think there is no other restriction.

thanks miguel. i need a particular listening section score , so i was worried about the retake policy, if i dont get the score that i need. 7 days a week sounds good! :)

I have decided to retake the TOEFL :| . No option there, I scored a 26/27 is 3 sections and 21 in one section(listening) and my target school needs a 25 on each section :twisted:
I just booked my appointment - March 11. Will post my debrief once I'm done. AND I have my GMAT coming up in 3 weeks!!!!
