If you are looking at making a big splash in IB, would suggest you wait this out. See what comes of your waitlists and defer your Georgetown admit for next year.

Hi nycfan,

I agree with the above posts, but I also encourage you to talk to the career center at Georgetown about companies that do recruit from the business school. They'll be very upfront, honest, and open with you. You never know; there may be a number of investment banks (perhaps not bulge bracket) that you would be interested in joining post-graduation.
