Hi there,

First of all congratulations for the score. That is some intense plan you followed to get to the magic number!

I was putting together my study plan today when I saw the study material you used. I noticed you used GMAT 800 and also took two tests from the it. At the same time you are strictly against Kaplan Tests. I am a bit confused here. Unless you are speaking of something else, isn't GMAT 800 by Kaplan? Also, today I ought a copy of GMAT 800 by Kaplan. I see no practice tests or CD in it!!! :?:

Can you please clarify which book did you use when you say "GMAT 800" and if it is the same as what I understood it to be then where do you get the tests?

I really appreciate your help.

BTW what schools are you applying to? R#2 or R#3? Good luck to you!
Thanks!

The GMAT800 tests are different from the tests on the CD you get with the Kaplan books. The Kaplan tests are way too tough for an average student. I did not use GMAT800 books. I used only the tests. You may have misunderstood from the text. I do not remember where I got the GMAT800 tests from. However, the tests are more similar to the 800Score tests rather than the Kaplan tests. Send me a PM and maybe I could share the tests with you. Will have to check with the copyrights though.

That's true alokalamban.. However, even though its just a question here and there, its fascinating how much effort actually goes into converting a 670 into a 700+ score.. You may expect all the luck to get there, but eventually it all comes down to how much you've prepared..

Thanks for the appreciation..

Thats amazing how you got to 700 in 45 days. I applaud you. I could say I am in a similar boat. I got 530 on my first prep about 8 days ago (Q 41, V21). Do you think its possible for me to get to 700+ in 3 months? Thats my goal. I have set up a blog that tracks my errors and my daily progress. If you dont mind taking a look at it, do you have any suggestions for me?

Thanks a lot!
