I interview at Simon in May. Can anyone share with me any of the questions/topics from their interviews?

The typical b-school interview questions (which you can find all over these forums). Know why you want to go to Simon. It's a small, focused program (as opposed to the large-enrollment schools). Have a clear idea of why you're applying there specifically.

Just be yourself and you should be fine. Good luck.

Hi there,

I'm admitted to...18-month accelerated program though I applied for Fall 2011.
The adcom told me that the only difference btw the 2 program is internship chance. Due to the heavy workload in 2nd year, we may not have enough time to accommodate for an internship. Yet, I would like to know if there's any other pros & cons/ differences btw the full-time Fall intake and Accelerated Winter intake?
Thanks

That seems like a question best answered by a current student. I'm sure adcom can put you in touch with one.

From what I've seen, the biggest difference between any accelerated MBA and a traditional two-year MBA is the summer internship component. With an accelerated program, you're going to be doing coursework over the summer, therefore limiting your internship possibilities.

Hi I'm bit late for Fall 2011 entering class because i could not get good GMAT scores on time...but got to know that few US schools have winter and spring intakes...i found SIMON among one of these schools.

I found out that SIMON has 18-month accelerated MBA program in which everything is same except internships...so just a little questn: how much importance recruiters give to internships? am i at disadvantage if I do the MBA without any internships.

Admitted to Simon as well as Merage School of Business. Contemplating which is better... I am in finance and plan to continue working in the corporate finance field. Which will be better?

Throughout the last three years, Simon's rank has been going down while Merage has been going up. Any reason why Simon has been going down so rapidly? Even in the US News rankings, Simon went from 27 to 45.

Hey guys. I was just admitted into Simon. M.Sc General Management. I've been following this forum for some months now and I appreciate the insights. What I want to know is- do you think it's a good program? Is it good value for money? Cos it's bloody expensive.

Hi Everyone. I am an international student accepted into the Simon FT MBA. I am interested in knowing whether the Access Education loan program provides loans inclusive of the ELUSC program.

Also, what are other avenues of finacial aid available that can help with living expenses as well.

Hi Guys, anyone here applying to accelerated MBA starting Jan'12 ?? Any ideas when are results posted once interview is done. (I gave mine on Jul 13 2011).

And does anyone knows how much are the living expenses and earning sources while in the program. Is it possible to get any assistant ships or fee waiver for the program.

Best Regards,
Abhe
