I want to spend some time increase my verbal score as well since I have to wait 31 days. would knewton help in that area? I ran out of SC stuff to work on and need to find new source.

in my opinion, Knewton is good for a developing solid base ... but if you already are at V-40 then u wont find the questions (apart from some advanced sets) challenging. Most of their questions are modelled around OG....

Yeah, I've found the GMAT club tests to be very good practice. It's obviously not the same as taking the GMAT, but it seems like there's very good coverages of the topics you might face.

I did half of the gmat club tests before my first test. I found that it was still hard to push to 50.

for 2nd test, I didn't study quant at all since I was consistently getting 49/50 on the cat tests.

I agree with some of the above posts that Knewton is probably not much helpful for you at this stage. It helps you build good foundation and get to the level you are at, but for 45+ scores, you probably have some other options to consider. I am currently enrolled in Knewton. If GMAT club tests didn't help you, look for some other advanced books. I don't know which books would help, may be Jeff Sackmann, Kaplan 800, MGMAT Advanced question bank, just some options to consider.

Thanks for the advice. I don't think I'll go with knewton then. I'll finish the rest of the gmatclub tests and then see what happens. Can you guys recommend any good verbal practice questions (SC in particular) I can use to get over 40?

This is the MGMAT Challenger set I was referring to. I was at work so didn't have time to look for it. "More than 250 extremely challenging questions" for $29 is probably worth it.

Can anyone suggest good SC questions to push my score pass 40? A lot of people mention 1000RC but I haven't been able to find a link to them.
