i think most consultancies have hourly services that could be good for this!!

I know of 1 firm that focuses on essay editing over regular admissions consulting, they are called Essay Snark

You can also get essay editing from non-business-school focused professionals. the consultants will tell u u need specialists, but i think a strong writer giving u input is more valuable than just some mba grad

I just sent all my MBA applications to Brian at Gurufi and was blown away by his editing!
He kept my voice, but very eloquently made my essays stronger, clearer, and more vivid. He was able to hit word counts without losing any of the content. What took me 300 words to say, only took him 150 words (and he said it better!)
He is extremely responsive, meets quick deadlines, and will do an amazing job!
