Thank you :)
I have compiled only those long list results, without adding minor(2-3 tests) results and ranges like "scored between 70-95% in last 12 challenges".

Does anyone have experience with these tests and the MGMAT ones? I have 8 of them already from buying the book set. I've taken 3 so far, and plan on doing some more reviewing before I do any more.

Also, one really nice thing about the MGMAT ones is it breaks down by topic how you performed so you can start to see trends after a few tests!

HI pkit

Can you help me figure out how to use your spreadsheet. I am a little confused here.
For e.g. I got 31 / 37 on m02. How can I calculate my Quant Score out of 51.
I cant seem to figure out.

Thanks..

Re: Result correlation between GMAT and GMAT Club's Tests [#permalink]
Any recent percentile scores on m24 and M25! My M25 was at 70% and m24 was at 35%.

Although, i did better on m24 in terms of number of answers that were right. Im hitting a consistent 45 in my quant in MGMAT and briefly touched 48 once.

Looking back at the test, i make many silly mistakes especially after question 25. Im hoping practice will help me sort this issue.

Any thoughts on this?

i took math 1 and math 2
scores 27/37 and 27/37

percentiles 53 and 37 :(

i browsed through the threads and noticed people getting 70-80 percentile with 26-30 questions correct,.

have the percentiles really gone down over the years ? or I am dumb at quant ?

1. The percentiles for GMAT Club Tests do go down with time.
2. You're definitely good at math
3. Don't stress about the percentiles. Instead, learn as much as you can while taking these tests.

hey I am new at gmat club, where do i give feedback for the tests?

there was a small error in one of the answers of test,,,,a question saying that the " product of the digits of the 2 digit number is a multiple of 9" and in the solution they have added the digits,"

the answers is right but the addition instead of multi is wrong.

Re: Result correlation between GMAT and GMAT Club's Tests [#permalink]
Hi,

I am scheduled to write the GMAT in two weeks. I just wrote a few GMAT club's math tests and was confused about the percentile and results. I could not understand how to interpret the excel correlation sheet.

For me timing has been a major issue since I started preparing for GMAT. In MGMAT CAT 1,2 and 3 I was not able to go past Question # 31. All three times I got around a score of around 39-40. I did CAT # 3 almost a month ago and was dismayed at the results. Since then I have reviewed my math concepts and written a few GMAT Club's tests over the past 3-4 days.

Following are my results so far, and as you can see I have not struggled with timing in any of the GMAT club's tests.

Test Correct Total % Correct Mean time Percentile
m13 30 37 81% 108.3018 sec 74%
m14 29 37 78% 120.8819 sec 75%
m17 30 37 81% 120.7231 sec 68%
m25 28 37 76% 108.8032 sec 75%
s99 12 19 63% 121.5445 sec 68%

I was wondering if anyone who has recently written both the actual GMAT and GMAT club's tests comment on my scores? What scores on the actual GMAT do the results above suggest? Also, how do the GMAT club's math tests compare to the actual GMAT in terms of timing? I am just completing the GMAT club tests on time and my past experience with MGMAT CATs has made me really nervous about timing. I am worried I will run short of time on the actual GMAT. Also, is it just me or has anyone else found the MGMAT CATs to be harder than the GMAT club tests? Was it not supposed to be the other way round?

Any advice/suggestion will be much appreciated.

I'm just beginning my studying now. Have about 3 months. I plan on tackling Quant first and once I lay the foundation I plan on tackling these tests. Seeing some of the results of previous GMATters confirmed this.

I look forward to it.

Thanks for the good wishes dzyubam!

It seems I may have made a minor error in that I bought the Kaplan Math Workbook before I learned about the Manhattan GMAT Math Foundations workbook. My math is pretty rusty, even back to basic fundamentals of fractions like canceling.

I don't know if you saw this, but giving it just in case:
gmat-math-book-87417.html

This is a community project aimed at assembling a good Math guide on essential GMAT Math topics. I'm sure you can find something useful there to brush up your Math skills.

If you feel that you can do better with the second book you mentioned, maybe it makes sense to get it too...

I gave v06 GMAT Club free verbal test. I got 32 out of 41 correct but it says 60.8 percentile..
Guys, please share your scores and please comment on my score, where do I stand and how Gmat club percentile works ? I want a 750 at least, please let me know what should I do more and what tests are best to practice that simulate actual gmat.

Thanks

Congs,
If you scored 61% it means that exactly 39% ot those who took the score scored better than you.
I think in terms of GMAT raw score you stand in 61%+5%=66%, go to mba.com and find the percentile table for verbal section.

 and at most?!

750 is in 98%- or 99% percentile range. So it will be difficult to be "at least in 99%".

I wish you good luck in preparation.
